Terms and Condition

R K Design specializes in high-quality furniture and home furnishings. These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to all purchases made through our website, including transactions conducted via telephone, email, or other communication channels with our customer service team.


PAYMENT CONDITIONS:

  • Pre-Order Items: A 50% deposit is required to initiate production. The remaining 50% is due 3 days before the scheduled shipping date. Production begins after receiving the initial 50% deposit. The lead time starts from this date. R K Design reserves the right to delay shipment until full payment is confirmed. All items remain the property of R K Design until full payment is received. Custom items are non-returnable, and refunds will not be issued once 50% adjudication has been made. Payments must be made via bank transfer in USD, with proof of transfer sent by email.

  • In-Stock Items: Full payment is required at the time of purchase.

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

Payments should be made by bank transfer in USD. In exceptional cases, other payment methods may be considered but may involve additional costs and delays.


SHIPPING & DELIVERY:

  • Shipping: R K Design will assist with shipping arrangements globally, but we are not responsible for the performance of the carrier.

  • Shipping Policy: All shipments are insured through our shipping agency. Shipping times are subject to the shipping agency’s schedules. We are not responsible for shipping or customs delays. If customs duties are not paid or the shipment is not accepted within 3 days of arrival, no refunds will be issued, and the shipment will be destroyed or returned at the buyer’s expense.

  • Delivery Time: In-stock items will be delivered within 10 business days. Pre-order items will have a lead time of 30 business days (delivery time is additional).

  • COVID-19 Updates: Delivery and production times may be extended by 7-12 days due to COVID-19. Our customer service team may experience delays, and we appreciate your patience.


FREIGHT POLICY & DAMAGE CLAIMS:

Inspect your purchase immediately upon delivery. Signature of receipt indicates acceptance of the item in undamaged condition. Report any visible or concealed damage to the delivering carrier and R K Design within 24 hours, including photographic evidence. Claims for damage reported after 24 hours will not be accepted. You are responsible for all shipping and return charges for refused shipments, as well as any associated costs.


RETURNS:

Returns are subject to our discretion. Unauthorized returns will be refused at the buyer’s expense. Returned items must be in original condition and packaging. The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Custom items are non-returnable, and refunds are not available after adjudication.


CANCELLATION:

  • In-Stock Items: Cancellations are not possible once an item has shipped.
  • Pre-Order Items: Cancellations are not permitted after adjudication, and refunds will not be provided.
  • Custom Items: Cancellations or refunds are not allowed once adjudication has been made.

R K Design offers customization for contract orders, including special pricing based on quantity and specifications. Please contact us for contract quotes.


PRODUCT STANDARD:

R K Design’s pieces are handcrafted, with slight variations expected due to the natural characteristics of materials. We do not guarantee an exact match in finishes, colors, or tones. Variations in wood and stone are inherent and part of their natural beauty. Fabric and finish warranties do not cover fading or oxidation.
